Isuria Supports Local Charities at HCFTA Golf Day

Isuria’s Ben Rymer and Robbie Mullen took part in the Hull Corn & Feed Trade Association (HCFTA) Golf Day, held at Brough Golf Club on 28th May. Joining forces with Neil and George Warburton from Massey Feeds, the team was thrilled to secure second place while helping to raise money for two deserving local charities.

The runners-up team at the HCFTA Golf Day: Ben Rymer (Isuria), Mark Woodhall (one of the event organisers), Robbie Mullen (Isuria), Neil Warburton & George Warburton (Massey Feeds), following a successful day of fundraising for charities Kids and ALAN.

The annual event brings together businesses from across the agricultural and feed sectors for a day of friendly competition and fundraising. This year’s chosen charities were Kids, which supports children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, along with their families, and the Agricultural Local Alliance Network (ALAN), a newly formed fundraising group that supports local rural causes and charities.

The day also included a raffle featuring a range of generously donated prizes. Among them was a stay at Wold Escapes, also part of the JSR Group, giving one lucky winner the opportunity to enjoy a luxury glamping getaway in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds.

We would like to thank everyone involved in organising the event, including Mark Woodhall, whose efforts helped make the day such a success. Events like these are a fantastic way for people from across the industry to come together, strengthen relationships and support worthwhile causes.

Congratulations to all those who took part, contributed to the fundraising efforts and helped make another HCFTA Golf Day a memorable occasion.
