Isuria Joins JSR Farming Group in Strategic Acquisition

Isuria is pleased to announce that the business has been acquired by JSR Farming Group, marking an exciting new chapter in the company’s growth and long-term development.
Formerly known as Yorkshire Feedstuffs and based in Hessle, East Yorkshire, Isuria has built a strong reputation in the commodities sector, with specialist expertise spanning commodity trading, bypass protein manufacture, feedstuffs, shipping and logistics. Joining JSR brings together two established, family-owned businesses with complementary strengths and shared values.
The acquisition combines Isuria’s in-depth knowledge of sourcing, trading and transporting agricultural raw materials with JSR’s strong foundation in arable farming and animal feed production. Both businesses are united by a commitment to integrity, innovation and respect for their staff, customers and suppliers, making the partnership a natural strategic fit.

Bernard Hoggarth, Chairman of JSR Farming Group, commented:

“We’ve known the team at Isuria for many years and have always respected the way they do business. Their knowledge of trading, specialist feeds and logistics really complements what we’re already doing at JSR. This feels like a natural fit for both sides – two family-run businesses coming together with shared values and a common goal to grow and be the industry leaders with service and price.”

All 32 Isuria employees will transfer as part of the acquisition, ensuring continuity for customers and safeguarding the expertise and relationships built over many years. Customers can continue to expect the same trusted service and specialist products, now further supported by the scale, resources and long-term investment approach of JSR Farming Group.

Gina Brown, Founder and Managing Director of Isuria, commented:

“Joining JSR marks an exciting new chapter for our team. We’re proud of the business we’ve built and the relationships we’ve formed over the years. Becoming part of JSR allows us to continue delivering the same high standards while benefiting from the scale, investment and long-term vision of a larger group. It’s a great opportunity for our people and our customers.”

The acquisition strengthens Isuria’s ability to invest in its people, enhance its capabilities and contribute to a resilient, forward-looking agricultural supply chain, while remaining focused on delivering high-quality products and exceptional service.
