WE MANUFACTURE AMINOPASS RAPE WHICH IS A SUPERIOR PRODUCT TO OTHER BYPASS PROTEIN PRODUCTS IN THE MARKET
Thank you for visiting Isuria Ltd the animal feed specialist.
We are one of the largest independent agricultural commodity trading businesses based in the UK, selling a wide and diverse range of animal feed and products including proteins, cereals, liquids and oils.
We specialise in producing Hipro Soya replacers, to enable the UK farmer to cut down food miles whilst not having any detrimental impact on animal production. Significantly, these specialist animal feed, products and By-Pass Proteins also enable the British farmer to meet the growing demands of both consumers and retailers for sustainable food and dairy production.
At Isuria, we understand that high-quality animal feed is the cornerstone of a healthy, productive farm. For UK farmers, reliable animal feed isn’t just about supporting livestock—it’s about ensuring food security, sustainability, and profitability across the agricultural sector. That’s why we’re committed to providing feed solutions that meet the highest standards, helping farmers care for their animals and grow their businesses with confidence.
Our Products
Aminopass Soya

•Soya bean meal is a well-respected protein source because of its high quality protein content and amino acid composition.
•Aminopass Soy is produced using a patented process which doubles the amount of bypass protein in soya bean meal.
•The process takes advantage of enhance sugars and enzymes which, when mixed with soya, bind to parts of the protein, protecting it from degradation in the rumen.
•During production of Aminopass Soy careful process control procedures ensure that the proteins become highly rumen undegradable but retain the high intestinal digestibility similar to untreated soya bean meal.
•This allows using less percentage Soya in the ration reducing all important costs per unit of production.
•We use the most cost effective / nearest soya source to provide the lowest carbon footprint possible whilst ensuring lowest costs available. Can be made from Sustainably sourced / North American soya if required.
Heat Treated Soya
Produced via our unique heat and pressure process.
Steam Heat treatment ensures uniform processing of finished product effectively by reducing ruminal degradation and partially blocking reducing protein solubility.
Is the Go To on farm higher protein level protected protein source.

Aminopass Rap

•The protein requirements of the modern dairy cow and rapidly growing young stock exceed the maximum supply available from the rumen. This shortfall must be made up otherwise performance will be negatively affected.
•Additional protein is therefore required which bypasses the rumen – ideally this would be in a form closely matching the cows requirements in terms of quality and digestibility. The use of bypass protein is essential for the modern dairy ration, a vital necessity ensuring protein requirements are met whilst minimizing loss and maximizing performance.
•The challenge faced is determining the correct product for the animal’s needs as not all sources of rumen bypass protein are equal.
•Understanding the differences and considering the impact on cow performance vs feed cost can be critical. Balancing Protein Supply
•The total protein requirement is also referred to as Metabolisable protein. Meeting this as efficiently as possible relies upon optimizing rumen protein production and the source of rumen-bypass protein (digestible un-degraded protein – DUP). Whilst all feeds contain protein which is available in both the rumen (RDP) and DUP, the total amount available in each varies vastly. As an example, grass silage supplies a large quantity of RDP but a very small amount of DUP. Therefore, it is important that the feed used to supply the required amount of DUP contain as little RDP as possible. This avoids excess nitrogen within the rumen.
•Untreated Soya Bean Meal is a favorable source of protein however, due to price and global pressures, the need for alternative products are increasing in demand. These need to be; cost-effective, contain reduced levels of RDP, are less carbon demanding whilst answering the sustainability questions, and also have a favorable amino acid profile closely matching the requirements of the animal.
Main Advantages –
•Aminopass Rap vs Soya Bean Meal – Aminopass RAP currently costs 18.32% less /t. (as at January 2025). Rapemeal used generally / can be guaranteed as home produced therefore ensuring the lowest carbon footprint possible. Recent testing shows that the amount of DUP available is typically 29% higher in Aminopass RAP.
•Rapemeal contains high levels of methionine which is the first limiting amino acid in dairy cattle
•Aminopass rape has the highest Protein levels of similar competing products so naturally will have the highest overall amount per input of protein protected through the rumen. It is also produced through our heat treating system so will gain extra protection there.
Heat Treated Rapemeal
Produced via our unique precise temperature and pressure process.
Wood generated steam Heat treatment ensures uniform processing of finished product effectively by reducing ruminal degradation and partially reducing protein solubility.
Process also decreases anti-nutritional factors
Is the general workhouse of the protected range particularly effective in on farm blended final feeds.
Meets DUP (Digestible Undegradable Protein) demand giving maximum efficiency.
Can reduce overall feed costs.

Rapetec

•Treated with Formalin. – made from Formaldehyde water and methanol.
•Used to inhibit Salmonellae in Raw Materials used in feeding as a straight or in a feed ration.
•Bonds to the reactive groups on protein molecules making them highly stable in the nearly neutral pH of the rumen.
•Effectively provides protection for proteins to by–pass the Rumen, but readily hydrolysed in the acidic pH of the lower digestive tract.
•Is currently banned in Poultry rations.
•Formalin itself is noxious and must be kept away from skin and eyes and inhalation
•It is on the EU’s ( and potentially UK’s) hit list for removal from all rations.
Cooked Linseed
•Linseed is cracked and heat treated allowing fed animal to process through the digestive tract.
•Heat treatment improves digestibility.
•Used for Conditioning, Performance and Wellbeing particularly in equine feeds – promotes shiny coat.
•Excellent source of Omega 3, 6 and 9.
•Contains Natural antioxidants.
•High in Energy low in Starch.
•Slow release energy source. Providing calories without causing sudden energy bursts.
•Raw linseed contains a compound that can produce cyanide when fed Hydrogen cyanide. The production process and regular testing by Isuria is conducted routinely to combat this.

Beano

•Made from a mixture of Rapeseed and Beans / Peas ( as market dictates) to suit analysis can be bespoke or our usual formulation basis season on season seed analysis.
•It is crushed through the rollers, steam heat treated and then ground.
•Grinding ruptures the oil cells increasing available energy.
•Beano is a excellent supply of Crude protein and Metabolisable Energy (ME) and essential amino acids for monogastics can be regarded also as a potential Soya replacement.
•Beano is highly digestible.
•Heat treatment and pressure limit protein damage and maximises reduction of anti-nutritional factors (e.g. Urease activity and TIA {Trypsin Inhibitor Activity})
Super Soy
•Made from US No 2 Soybeans or Equivalent
•The process uses rolls to break the beans, steam and pressure cooking to limit anti-nutritional factors such as TIA and Urease activity, before being cooled and ground to make a free flowing, golden, pleasant smelling meal.
•Useful levels of Linoleic acid, Vitamin E and inherent Lecithin.
•Useful in all species feeds – Tests approx.

Cut Maize

•Thoroughly sieved to remove virtually all meal – this product ranks with the best on offer in the UK.
•Also known as Cracked Maize not Broken Maize – Cut is the superior product.
•New plant installed late 2024
